Catching the Millennium Bug

Hola!

Yesterday I had a wonderful time down by the Tyne. The iconic tilting Millenium Eye bridge connecting Gateshead and Newcastle for foot passengers (and cyclists) has brought recognition to a river once known as a centre of industry. Interviewing Tony who operates the mechanism that rasies the bridge inorder to allow boats through, I got an idea of how complex the machine is, despite looking so simple. Check it out on the site.

Cheers
Leon
